"The Gathering is a collage of mentally visible/viable events contained within the physical boundaries of an idea, produced from peoples perception and ideas of the reality of conceptual art events, performances and happenings within the contemporary (art) world."

Construct a nonsensical questionnaire and get as many people to fill it out as you can. The last question should ask the participant to come up with an idea for a performance, with the idea set out as a set of instructions.

The instructions should be followed, with descriptions of what is needed, the location and any possible problems with each performance being written out. The performance idea should then be drawn out in diagram form for the viewer to see what will happen in the performance.

By following the instructions and drawings, each viewer gets their own personal performance from the work.
